ACRYLIC POUR WORKSHOP | RAILWAY CITY ROADHOUSE
Looking for a fun, creative night out in St. Thomas? Join Paint-tastic by Ellie at Railway City Roadhouse, a welcoming local bar and grill on Talbot Street known for outstanding food, friendly service, and a great place to bring family, watch a game, or host an event. Their extensive menu includes appetizers, burgers, wraps, pasta, sandwiches, steak and ribs, vegan-friendly options, cocktails, wine, and more, making it easy to turn your paint night into a full evening of food, drinks, creativity, and plenty of laughs.
These workshops are not your typical art class. They are social, upbeat, and beginner-friendly, with Ellie guiding the group through a colourful, hands-on painting experience. Her bubbly personality keeps everyone laughing, relaxed, and involved from start to finish.
Acrylic pour painting is all about pouring and moving specially prepared acrylic paints to create bold, abstract, one-of-a-kind artwork. No two pieces ever turn out the same, which is part of the fun.
WE TAKE CARE OF YOUR ARTWORK WHILE IT DRIES!
Acrylic pour paintings need time to dry properly, so we arrange for your artwork to remain safely at the venue for a minimum of 7 days. This means you can relax and enjoy the rest of your evening without worrying about transporting a wet painting home, making a mess in your vehicle, or potentially damaging your car's interior. We take care of your artwork while it dries, so it is ready for you to collect once it has had the time it needs.
ARTWORK PICKUP | 7–14 DAYS AFTER THE EVENT
Your finished masterpiece will be waiting for you at the same venue between 7 and 14 days after your workshop. Please note that Ellie will not be present during artwork pickup. No worries, though! The venue staff are trained to help you locate and retrieve your painting. Simply check in with a staff member when you arrive, and they will assist you with collecting your artwork.
Thank you for allowing your painting the time it needs to dry safely. We can't wait for you to see your one-of-a-kind masterpiece!
CHOOSE YOUR POURING OPTION!
* OPTIONS ARE SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY
We offer a variety of pouring options depending on your experience, how many times you have painted with Ellie, and what kind of piece you want to create. Whether you are joining for a fun night out and a great memory, or you are ready to create something truly show-stopping, there is an option for you.
10X20 ARTIST CANVAS
Our artist-grade 10×20 canvas offers a smooth gessoed surface for a satin finish. A solid pick for first-time pourers! This is by far our most popular pouring option.
8X10 TRIPLE CANVAS POUR
Create fluid art on smooth, artist-grade canvases—resulting in a satin dried finish, unless Tri-Art Liquid Glass is applied once dried.
With the TRIPLE CANVAS POUR, align three canvases and pour across them at once to create a continuous design that looks striking when hung together.
4PC & 6PC COASTER SET POUR
Includes four 4" ceramic coasters, separate self-adhesive cork backs, and our Tri-Art Liquid Glass Kit to seal after drying.
COASTER OPTIONS INCLUDE OUR TRI-ART LIQUID GLASS FINISHING KIT.
10X20 BIRCH WOOD PANEL
Our 10"x20" Birch Wood Panels are a perfect match for Acrylic Pour Painting! Expertly crafted with a 3mm Baltic birch surface and nestled in a robust 1 1/2" wood frame, this panel exudes a sense of depth and professionalism.
12"ROUND WOOD PANELS
We offer Round Birch Wood Panels in 16". These Round Wood Panels result in stunning pour paintings and look incredible in any space when hung on the wall!
Cradles on a 3/4" MDF frame, perfect for hanging!
